日本カンボジア舞踊協会（JCDA）とは

2021年3月13日、日本カンボジア舞踊協会（JCDA）（英名：Japan Cambodian Dance Association）準備委員会を開催いたしました。

カンボジア古典舞踊は、悠久のアンコール王朝から、近代の苦難の歴史を経てもなお途絶えることなく、代々の師匠によって守り継がれてきた由緒ある伝統芸能です。この系譜を継いだ本国の舞踊学校を卒業し、カンボジア王国 王室 故ノロドム・ボパ・デヴィ王女より、日本におけるカンボジア古典舞踊の普及と発展に寄与するための許可を得て、師範資格を有する舞踊家・山中ひとみは、2006年より教室SAKARAKを主宰してきました。

そして、その教室を核として、有識者のお力添えをいただき、日本カンボジア舞踊協会が生まれようとしています。

当会は、すべての舞踊活動において、世界無形文化遺産に登録されるカンボジア古典舞踊の格式としきたりに敬意を払いながら、カンボジア本国の舞踊界の先生方の想いに心を寄せ、礼をもって絆を大切に取り組みます。

舞踊教室の開設にあたっては在籍制度を設け、国内外での古典​舞踊の出演は、常に正統性を重んじています。

また一方で、「気持ちをリフレッシュしたい」、「カンボジア文化に親しみたい」等のニーズにも応え、民俗舞踊サークルの監修、ワークショップや講演会などカンボジア舞踊に関する様々な活動にも取り組みます。

異国の文化を学ぶ者としての謙虚さを忘れずに、しかし正統な系譜を継ぐ者達としての誇りを大切に、広く市民へ向けた息の長い活動を実現させていきたいと考えています。

About Japan Cambodia Dance Association (JCDA)

On March 13, 2021, we held a preparatory committee meeting for the Japan Cambodian Dance Association (JCDA) (English name: Japan Cambodian Dance Association).

Cambodian classical dance is a time-honored traditional performing art that has been preserved by successive generations of masters since the timeless Angkor Dynasty, and has remained unbroken even through the hardships of modern times. He graduated from a dance school in his home country that inherited this lineage, and received permission from the late Princess Norodom Bopha Devi of the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Cambodia to contribute to the spread and development of Cambodian classical dance in Japan. Hitomi Yamanaka has been running the SAKARAK classroom since 2006.

With this classroom at its core and the help of experts, the Japan-Cambodian Dance Association is about to be born.

In all of our dance activities, we respect the formality and conventions of Cambodian classical dance, which is registered as a world intangible cultural heritage, while paying close attention to the thoughts of the teachers of the dance world in Cambodia, and respecting and respecting the bonds between them. I will work on it.

When opening a dance school, we have a enrollment system, and we always respect the authenticity of our classical dance performances both domestically and internationally.

At the same time, we also respond to needs such as “want to get acquainted with Cambodian culture,” and engage in various activities related to Cambodian dance, such as supervising folk dance circles, workshops, and lectures.

We hope to carry out long-lasting activities aimed at a wide range of citizens, without forgetting the humility of being a student of foreign cultures, but also valuing pride as inheritors of a legitimate lineage.
